Shallots Strip

Low-maintenance and undemanding, shallots will produce a good crop in any well-drained, fertile soil in full sun. They need a long growing period, but can be interplanted with faster-growing crops to make best use of space.

They come in various shapes, colours and sizes, with a sweet, tangy flavour, and can be used for cooking or pickling.
