Decorate a Christmas Tree with Dobbies
We’re inviting local schools, charities and community groups to experience Christmas in every sense, by decorating their very own tree that will be go on display in their local store
A number of Dobbies stores will select up to three local groups to take part in this unique experience. Selected groups will have the chance to visit their local store and decorate their own faux tree
Each tree will then be unveiled at our Christmas Shopping Night on Thursday 21st November with groups invited to take part in the evening with a special tree-side performance, song or reading of their choice. The decorated trees will form part of Dobbies’ magical festive displays and remain on show in the store in the run up to Christmas
Christmas Shopping Night, in support of our National Charity Partner, Teenage Cancer Trust, is a community focused occasion in the Dobbies festive calendar, with special offers, sampling and local performances
Who can enter
Applications are now open and entering is easy. Complete this short form and tell us why your group would like to be involved
The closing date for all entries is 5pm, Friday 8 November
Selected groups will be contacted after the closing date and invited along to their local store for Christmas Shopping Night on Thursday 21st November, 2024

Open to all good causes – charities, community groups, schools, sports groups
This is not a cash prize
Your group should be within 20 miles of a participating Dobbies’ store and available to attend Christmas Shopping Night on Thursday 21st November
We would like to promote the project with local press and on social media – those involved in the project should be comfortable with this
