What could be more rewarding than having your own, homegrown basil which you can nip out and pick a few leaves from whenever you need them? Basil is a popular herb for adding to pasta sauces, pizza and Thai curries.

Greek Basil is only part hardy so plants grow outdoors will need extra protection or to be brought inside over the winter. Plant your basil in a container on a sunny windowsill and you'll have a supply all year long!
